Timeline

RC Law’s journey is built upon pillars of innovation, strategic partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to the development of Brazil and global trade. From its founding as Promare in 1999 to its consolidation as RC Law in 2022, the firm has stood out for connecting businesses and nations. In 2024, we proudly celebrate 25 years of operation, strengthening our presence and relevance in corporate law.

  • 1999

    Promare was founded by its founding partner, Dr. Eugênio Aquino.

  • 2008

    Expansion of services in Customs Law. Holding of the 1st Maritime Law, Navigation and Logistics Forum of Ceará in partnership with FIEC.

  • 2009

    The 2nd edition of the Forum consolidates Promare’s presence in the maritime and logistics sector.

  • 2010

    In response to the economic crisis in the maritime sector, Promare expands its operations to full service, diversifying its areas of activity.

  • 2011

    Economist Dr. Freire Sena joins as a partner, bringing decades of experience in the international financial sector. The team is expanded to meet growing full-service demands.

  • 2014

    Change of headquarters and expansion of physical structure. With the retirement of the last founding partner, Dr. Larry Carvalho takes over as Managing Partner. Promare holds the III Forum on Maritime Law, Navigation and Logistics in partnership with FIEC.

  • 2015

    Creation of Promare Cobranças, led by partner Bruno Lima, in response to the increased demands of the Offshore sector.

  • 2016

    Dr. Mariana Félix joins the company. The legal control of RC Law is implemented.

  • 2017

    Opening of the branch in São Luís/MA and separation of the three areas: Promare Consultoria, Promare Cobrança and RC Law.

  • 2018

    Regional expansion with the opening of branches in Salvador/BA and Belém/PA, consolidating leadership in the Arco Norte.

  • 2019

    Strengthening branches and implementing a new controlling system to improve internal management.
